6月24日，林柏宏针对二伯、四叔向媒体爆料其父欠债一事公开回应，称自成年起便独立工作承担生活开销，多年来持续资助父母并偿还多笔债务。他表示与伯叔辈极少见面且久无联系，“上一辈的金钱纠葛，我既不了解内情也无力介入”。同时，他严正否认“骂父亲是流浪狗”的传闻，特别解释道：“流浪狗是用来照顾疼惜的，不是骂人的词汇，请大家一起以领养代替购买。
