III. Eligibility

1.面向全球创作者开放，不限国籍、年龄、职业身份。

Open to creators worldwide, regardless of nationality, age, or professional status.

2.个人、团队或机构均可报名。

Individuals, teams, or organizations are all eligible to apply.

3.参赛作品须为原创，参赛者须拥有作品的完整版权或已获得合法授权，不得侵犯任何第三方的包括但不限于知识产权、肖像权、名誉权、隐私权等合法权益；因作品侵权引发的全部法律责任由参赛者独立承担，若因此导致组委会遭受损失的，参赛者应予全额赔偿。

Entries must be original works. Entrants must possess complete copyright of the work or have obtained legal authorization, and must not infringe upon any third party's legal rights, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, portrait rights, reputation rights, and privacy rights. The entrant shall independently bear all legal liabilities arising from any infringement related to the submitted work. If the organizing committee suffers losses as a result, the entrant shall provide full compensation.

Each entrant may submit multiple works, but each work requires a separate submission application.

四、作品要求

IV. Entry Requirements

4.1 创作时间Creation Timeline

·作品须在2025年1月1日至2026年5月4日之间完成制作，以作品首次公开发布、定稿或可验证的完成记录中较早者为准。组委会对创作时间有最终核实权。

Works must be completed between January 1, 2025, and May 4, 2026. The completion date shall be determined by the earliest verifiable record of public release, final cut, or completion. The Organizing Committee holds the final right of verification regarding the creation timeline.

4.2 技术要求Technical Requirements

·作品必须在创作全流程中运用AI工具并使其发挥实质作用，制作流程中AI技术使用比例70%以上。鼓励在叙事创新、影像美学呈现、视觉特效打造、声音艺术创作等任一或多个维度合理且富有创意地运用人工智能技术。

Works must utilize AI tools substantively throughout the entire creation process, with AI technology application accounting for over 70% of the production workflow. Creators are encouraged to employ AI technology reasonably and creatively in any one or more dimensions, including narrative innovation, visual aesthetic presentation, VFX creation, and sound art creation.

·提交作品时须附带一份AIGC创作阐述，内容可包括但不限于：使用的AI工具名称及版本、内容生成流程、核心提示词（prompt）示例、创作工作流截图示例、生成过程中的关键截图示例。请重点展示在AI应用方面最突出的环节，以利于竞逐单项奖。

Submissions must include a supplementary AIGC Creation Statement (in PDF format). Content may include but is not limited to: names and versions of AI tools used, content generation workflow, examples of key prompts, screenshots of the creation workflow, and key screenshots from the generation process. Please emphasize the most prominent aspects of AI application to facilitate consideration for individual awards.

4.3 格式与规格Format and Specifications

·视频格式：MOV或MP4，1080P，编码H.264，横屏。

Video Format: MOV or MP4, 1080p resolution, H.264 codec, Horizontal (Landscape) orientation.

·字幕要求：对白、旁白和解说需要配有英文字幕。

Subtitles: Dialogue, voice-over, and narration must include English subtitles.

·所有作品时长需在一分钟以上，并具有完整叙事。1-20分钟归为AI短片类别，20分钟以上归为AI长片类别。本届电影节暂不接收MV、广告、宣传片、竖屏短剧作品。

Duration: All works must be at least 1 minute in length and possess a complete narrative structure. 1–20 minutes: Categorized as AI Short Film. Over 20 minutes: Categorized as AI Feature Film.This edition of the festival will not accept Music Videos (MV), commercials, promotional videos, or vertical screen short dramas.

GoldGen Award | 金帧奖本届电影节最高奖项定名为“金帧奖”，英文为 GoldGen Award。英文“GoldGen” 由“Gold”（金）与 “Generate”（生成，即 AIGC 核心动作）组合而成，寓意“黄金般的生成”或“珍贵的创造”。中文“金帧奖”中，“帧”是影像的基本单位，中英文发音高度相似（GoldGen /金帧），且“Gen”与“帧”在各自语言中均直接指向AIGC 电影制作的核心——生成每一帧画面。该命名突出 AI 生成这一创作本质，旨在表彰那些在 AI 生成画面的质量、连贯性与艺术性上达到顶尖水准的作品。The festival's highest honor is named the GoldGen Award. The English name combines "Gold" with "Generate" (the core action of AIGC), signifying "golden generation" or "precious creation." The Chinese name "金帧" (Jīn Zhēn) uses "帧" (frame), the fundamental unit of film. The pronunciation aligns closely across languages (GoldGen / Jīn Zhēn), and "Gen" / "帧" both directly reference the core of AIGC filmmaking—the generation of each frame. This title underscores the essence of AI generation, honoring works that achieve peak excellence in the quality, coherence, and artistry of AI-generated visuals.

Awarded to an AI visual work whose music or score is generated or assisted by AI tools, achieving high cohesion with the narrative and possessing independent artistic merit. This award recognizes the deep collaboration between human creators and AI in the musical domain.

金帧奖·最佳动画

GoldGen Award · Best Animation

授予在AI工具辅助下，呈现独特视觉风格、流畅角色运动与完整叙事表达的AI动画作品。该奖项表彰人类动画师与AI技术在动画创作中的深度融合。

Awarded to an AI-assisted animated work that exhibits a unique visual style, fluid character motion, and complete narrative expression. This award recognizes the deep integration of human animators and AI technology in animation creation.

金帧奖·最佳人机协作

GoldGen Award · Best Human-AI Collaboration

授予在人类与AI协作方式上实现突破性方法论创新的AI影像作品——包括工作流搭建、工具整合、AI与实拍混合制作等。该奖项表彰的是创作者“如何与AI协作”的方法创新，聚焦于人机协作的智慧与路径。

Awarded to an AI visual work that demonstrates breakthrough methodological innovation in the manner of human-AI collaboration—including workflow design, tool integration, or hybrid AI/live-action production. This award recognizes innovation in “how creators collaborate with AI”, focusing on the wisdom and pathways of human-machine synergy.

说明Notes：

·最佳动画作品须具备显著的2D、3D、卡通、手绘、插画或非真实感渲染风格。

Best Animation entries should feature a distinctly recognizable 2D, 3D, cartoon, hand-drawn, illustrative, or non-photorealistic rendering style.

·AI原生类作品与利用AI技术进行动捕转绘类作品将分开进行评审考量。

AI-native works and works utilizing AI for motion-capture retargeting/rotoscoping will be evaluated under separate considerations.

·组委会保留根据最终入围作品情况调整奖项设置的权利，如某一类别参赛作品未达评审标准，该奖项可能空缺或合并至其他类别。

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to adjust award settings based on the final pool of nominated works. If entries in a specific category do not meet judging standards, that award may be vacated or merged into another category.

6.1评审委员会构成Jury Composition

电影节引入不同界别和地区的评审成员，确保评审的专业性、公正性以及国际化：

The festival will invite jury members from diverse sectors and regions to ensure professionalism, fairness, and international scope:

·艺术领域：国际及国内著名电影人组成，负责把控视听语言、叙事及审美。

Arts Sector: Comprising renowned international and domestic filmmakers responsible for evaluating cinematic language, narrative, and aesthetics.

·技术领域：AI大厂高层、知名AIGC创作人组成，负责鉴定AI工具参与度、评估人机协作技术难度。

Technology Sector: Comprising senior executives from leading AI companies and prominent AIGC creators responsible for verifying AI tool integration depth and assessing the technical complexity of human-machine collaboration.

·跨界领域：高校学者、科幻作家等共同参与终评，以多元角度评判作品主题深度和社会意义。

Cross-disciplinary Sector: Scholars from academia and science fiction writers will participate in the final judging, evaluating works' thematic depth and social significance from a multi-faceted perspective.

6.2 评审流程Judging Process

1.初筛：由组委会进行报名合规性审核，并对作品进行“含AI量”技术鉴定。

Preliminary Screening: The Organizing Committee conducts compliance checks on applications and performs technical verification of "AI content proportion."

2.初评：由初审评委对作品进行初评，选出各奖项入围作品。

Preliminary Judging: Preliminary judges evaluate the works to select nominees for each award category.

3.终评：终审评委团对入围作品进行最终评议，确定获奖名单。

Final Judging: The final jury panel conducts conclusive deliberation on nominated works to determine the winners.

请于本征片公告载明的征片截止日期前，将完整的报名资料发送至组委会官方邮箱。以组委会邮箱实际收到邮件的时间为准，逾期提交的作品不予受理。Please send the complete set of application materials to the official Organizing Committee email address before the submission deadline specified in this announcement. The time of receipt in the committee's mailbox shall prevail. Late submissions will not be accepted.

八、入围及获奖者权益

VIII. Benefits for Nominees and Winners

1.获奖作品将获得对应奖项奖金、证书和奖杯；入围作品将获颁入围证书。所有入围和获奖者将被收录于电影节官方手册及经组委会确认的宣传物料中。奖金个人所得税由获奖者依法自行承担。

Winning entries will receive the corresponding cash prize, certificate, and trophy for their award; finalist entries will be awarded a finalist certificate. All finalists and winners will be included in the Festival’s official handbook and promotional materials confirmed by the Organizing Committee. Prize money is subject to individual income tax, which shall be borne by the winners themselves in accordance with applicable laws.

2.获奖作品同时将获得由电影节合作AI厂商提供的算力奖励及深度合作机会（具体奖励规则以厂商官方说明为准，相关合作由获奖者与厂商另行协商确定，组委会仅负责对接），具体AI厂商名单将后续公布。

Winning entries will also receive computing power credits and in-depth collaboration opportunities provided by the Festival's partnering AI companies (specific reward terms shall be subject to the official descriptions provided by the respective companies; any related collaboration shall be separately negotiated and agreed upon between the winners and the companies, with the Organizing Committee solely responsible for facilitating initial contact). The list of specific AI company partners will be announced at a later date.

3.入围作品将有机会在电影节期间在香港文博会进行官方展映，具体展映安排由组委会根据实际情况综合决定。

Finalist entries will have the opportunity to be officially screened during the Hong Kong Cultural and Creative Expo held in conjunction with the Festival. Specific screening arrangements shall be determined by the Organizing Committee at its discretion based on actual circumstances.

4.获奖创作者将有机会受邀前往香港参加电影节颁奖典礼、论坛沙龙、黑客松挑战赛及慈善晚宴。组委会保留因实际情况调整系列活动中部分环节的权利。

Winning creators will have the opportunity to be invited to Hong Kong to attend the Festival's Awards Ceremony, forums and salons, hackathon challenges, and charity gala dinner. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to adjust certain elements of the event series based on actual conditions.

5.电影节将协助获奖创作者与国内外知名影视公司、投资机构、资深电影人和AI厂商对接产业交流与合作机会，帮助其后续作品孵化。（相关合作由创作者与第三方自行协商并签署协议，电影节不对任何具体合作成果或作品孵化结果作出保证。）

The Festival will assist winning creators in connecting with renowned domestic and international film and television companies, investment institutions, veteran filmmakers, and AI companies to facilitate industry exchange and collaboration opportunities, thereby supporting the incubation of their future projects. (Any related collaboration shall be negotiated and contracted directly between the creators and the third parties; the Festival does not provide any guarantee regarding specific collaboration outcomes or project incubation results.)

九、版权与使用

IX. Copyright and Usage

1.参赛作品版权归原作者所有。

Copyright of the submitted work remains with the original creator.

2.组委会有权对入围及获奖作品进行非商业性使用，包括但不限于：电影节期间展映、官方渠道宣传推广、存档研究等。

The Organizing Committee has the right to use nominated and winning works for non-commercial purposes, including but not limited to: festival screenings, official channel promotions, and archival research.

3.如需对作品进行超出上述范围的商业使用，组委会将与版权方另行协商。

Any commercial use of the work beyond the scope stated above shall be negotiated separately with the copyright holder.

十、法律声明

X. Legal Statement

1.本电影节为非营利性文化交流活动，组委会仅负责活动相关组织工作。参赛者应保证其报名行为及提交的作品合法合规，作品不违反中华人民共和国法律及香港特别行政区相关法律，亦不违反参赛者所属国和相关区域的法律（针对参赛者非中国国籍或者中国注册的组织），作品制作过程需要的算法、大模型等已依法完成合法登记或者备案，不存在侵犯任何第三方知识产权、肖像权、名誉权、隐私权等合法权益情形；作品导向正向健康，权属清晰、无任何权利纠纷与瑕疵。This film festival is a non-profit cultural exchange event. The Organizing Committee is solely responsible for event organization. Entrants must guarantee that their registration and submitted works comply with applicable laws, including the laws of the People's Republic of China, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the laws of the entrant's country of origin or relevant jurisdiction (for non-Chinese nationals/entities). Algorithms and large models used in the production process must have completed necessary legal registrations or filings where required. Works must not infringe upon any third party's legal rights, including intellectual property, portrait, reputation, or privacy rights. Works must reflect positive and healthy values, have clear ownership, and be free of any rights disputes or defects.

2.本电影节奖项评审不涉及对参赛作品的合法性审核，但若作品本身存在任何侵权行为，主办方有权取消其报名及评审资格。

The festival's award evaluation does not constitute a legal compliance review of the works. However, if any work is found to involve infringement, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify it from participation and consideration.

3.凡因参赛作品、报名行为及作品使用所产生的一切法律纠纷与相关责任，均由参赛者自行承担；若造成组委会或第三方损失的，参赛者应全额赔偿。

All legal disputes and related liabilities arising from the submitted work, the act of submission, or the use of the work shall be borne solely by the entrant. If losses are incurred by the Organizing Committee or any third party as a result, the entrant shall provide full compensation.

4.凡报名参加本活动，即视为同意首届香港AI国际电影节的主办单位、协办单位、承办单位及相关合作单位基于宣传推广目的，在全球范围内永久免费自行或授权第三方在线上线下平台使用相关报名主体信息（如名称、LOGO等）、报名作品及其名称、片花或宣传片、海报、作者照片、作品截图等内容，以及将报名主体录制的含有报名单位、作者姓名、声音、肖像等元素活动内容，用于首届香港国际AI电影节及相关报名作品的展示、宣传、推广等，并有权根据报名主体实际情况、特点、相关活动运营需要，制作、剪辑报名者的相关视频。

By submitting an entry to this event, the entrant agrees that the Host, Co-organizers, Organizer, and affiliated partners of The 1st Hong Kong International AI Film Festival may, for promotional purposes, perpetually and royalty-free use, or authorize third parties to use, the entrant's submitted information (e.g., name, logo), the submitted work (including its title, clips, trailers, posters, author photos, screenshots, etc.), and recordings containing the entrant's name, voice, likeness, etc., in online and offline platforms globally. The Organizer also reserves the right to edit and compile related videos of entrants based on event needs, participant characteristics, and operational requirements.

XI. Other Provisions

1.凡报名参加首届香港国际AI电影节，即视为已阅读、理解并完全同意本公告的全部内容。

Submission of an entry to The 1st Hong Kong International AI Film Festival signifies that the entrant has read, understood, and fully agreed to all terms and conditions outlined in this Call for Entries.

2.本次活动最终解释权归组委会所有，组委会可根据活动实际情况对本公告进行必要的补充或修订。任何修改均以电影节官方公布的最新版本为准，参赛者继续报名或参赛即视为接受修改。

The Organizing Committee reserves the right of final interpretation of this event. The committee may make necessary supplements or amendments to this announcement based on actual circumstances. Any modifications shall be subject to the latest version officially published by the festival. Continued participation or submission by an entrant constitutes acceptance of such modifications.
