杨天娲是著名的德国回声古典唱片大奖2014年最佳新人奖获得者,同时她也是2014年德国唱片评论奖获奖者,获奖唱片是由她录制的门德尔松《小提琴协奏曲》和萨拉萨蒂小提琴作品全集。她被《美国唱片指南》誉为“无懈可击的小提琴大师”;被《号角》杂志赞誉为“超越她的所有对手”,《底特律新闻报》称她是“我们这个时代最重要的小提琴家新秀”。杨天娲正在成为当今一流的国际小提琴家和录音艺术家;杨天娲近年穿梭世界各地演出及录制唱片,好评如潮。

与杨天娲频繁合作乐团的包括美国顶尖的底特律、西雅图、巴尔的摩、纳什维尔、堪萨斯城、太平洋、托雷多;德国的德国SWR西南广播交响乐团、中德莱比锡广播交响乐团、巴伐利亚国家歌剧院交响乐团、德国广播爱乐;法国里尔国家交响乐团、斯特拉斯堡爱乐;英国皇家爱乐乐团、BBC爱乐、皇家利物浦爱乐;新西兰国家交响乐团;香港小交响乐团、香港管弦乐;马来西亚、水牛城、厄尔福特、华沙爱乐乐团等。她合作过的指挥家有马克·阿尔布莱希特、安德里亚斯·德尔福斯、乔安·法莱塔、强卡洛·古埃雷罗、君特·赫比希、雅尔·莱维、卡洛斯·米盖尔·普里埃托、杰拉德·施瓦茨、瓦西里·辛奈斯基,等等。此外,杨天娲还在如下重要的音乐节和音乐厅演出:拉维尼亚音乐节、弗吉尼亚艺术节、史威兹根城堡音乐节、伦敦的维格墨音乐厅、巴黎的普雷耶尔音乐厅、纽约玫瑰剧院和林肯中心、莱比锡的格万特豪斯音乐厅。她曾在多个欧洲国家广播电台举办现场直播的独奏音乐会,包括斯图加特西南德广播电台从史威兹根城堡音乐节、德国广播电台从柏林爱乐音乐厅、法国电台从蒙彼利埃音乐节直播的音乐会。

杨天娲是广受好评的录音艺术家,至今,杨天娲为拿索斯(NAXOS)唱片公司已经录制了近20张唱片,曲目包括从巴洛克时期的维瓦尔弟作品到沃尔夫冈·里姆的现代派作品。最新录制的唱片是与德国SWR西南广播交响乐团录制的卡斯特努沃-滕德斯科的小提琴协奏曲,以及尤金·伊萨伊的独奏作品全集。因她录制的门德尔松小提琴协奏曲专辑,她被“国际音乐网”称为“新世纪最佳小提琴新人之一”。她录制的萨拉萨蒂小提琴作品全集共有八张CD,《今日古典》的大卫·赫维茨称她为“感人至深的天才小提琴家”, 美国《弦乐》杂志评论她具有“令人惊叹,不费吹灰之力的精湛技艺”,该唱片获得了法国金音叉唱片大奖、美国“古典音乐网”的“全年度最优秀唱片”,卢森堡“年度唱片最佳选择”等多个奖项。被法国乐评惊赞为“无可挑剔、无法超越的演奏,堪与海菲兹大师媲美”,2012年底,沃尔夫冈·里姆的小提琴钢琴作品全集出版,她还与纳什维尔交响乐团录制了皮亚佐拉的《四季》,以及与自己的室内乐团录制了维瓦尔第的皮亚佐拉和《八季》。

杨天娲不断在欧洲、澳洲、亚洲和北美取得成功。最近,他与赫尔辛基爱乐、伦敦皇家爱乐,以及埃德蒙顿交响乐团合作。这是在她2012年随香港小交响乐团在温哥华、多伦多、蒙特利尔、卡尔加里巡演之后,与加拿大乐团的首演。在2012年的同一次巡演中,杨天娲还在纽约的玫瑰剧院进行了纽约首演。未来的演出包括与伦敦爱乐、佛罗里达交响乐团、温哥华和温尼伯交响乐团,以及与德国科隆爱乐乐团的演出。

杨天娲生长在北京,四岁从师林丁丁老师,五岁起在国内比赛包揽金奖,十岁时拜师林耀基教授,十一岁起开始受邀与国内外各大交响乐团合作演出。指挥家小泽征尔授予她“明日之星”称号,艾萨克-斯特恩(Isaac Stern)欣赏完她的表演后即刻发出到美国的邀请。香港媒体称她为“华人的骄傲”。

杨天娲13岁时打破世界纪录,成为迄今音乐史上灌录帕格尼尼《二十四首随想曲全集》唱片的年纪最小演奏家。她2003年获得“德意志文化交流基金会(DAAD)”特别奖学金赴德国学习,2006年获“德国万宝龙杰出青年音乐家大奖”(Prix Mont Blanc),成为得到该奖项的第一位中国人。她还是2014年德国回声唱片大奖最佳新人奖获得者。目前,她是瑞士伯尔尼艺术大学小提琴教授。杨天娲现生活在德国。

Tianwa Yang  Violinist

Winner of the prestigious ECHO Klassik Best Up-and-Coming Artist Award 2014 and the Annual Prize of the German Record Critics 2014 for her Naxos recordings of the Mendelssohn Violin Concertos and Complete Music for Violin by Sarasate, Tianwa Yang is referred to as “an unquestioned master of the violin”  by American Record Guide who “rises above her competition” (Fanfare), while quickly establishing  herself as a leading international performer and recording artist.  The young violinist, a resident of Germany and heralded by the Detroit News as “the most important violinist to come on the scene in many a year,” has debuted with such major orchestras as the Detroit, Seattle, Baltimore, Nashville, Kansas City, Pacific, Toledo, SWR Baden Baden Freiburg, and New Zealand Symphonies, in addition to the MDR Sinfonieorchester-Leipzig, Bayerisches Staatsorchester, Orchestre National d'?le de France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, Hong Kong Sinfonietta and the Hong Kong, Malaysia, Buffalo, BBC, Deutsche Radio, Erfurt, Warsaw and Royal Liverpool Philharmonics.  Ms. Yang has performed under the baton of renowned conductors Marc Albrecht, Andreas Delfs, JoAnn Falletta, Giancarlo Guerrero , Günther Herbig, Yoel Levi, Carlos Miguel Prieto, Gerard Schwarz, Vassily Sinaisky amongst others. Other international engagements include those at the Ravinia Festival, Virginia Arts Festival, Schwetzinger Festival, London’s Wigmore Hall, Paris’ Salle Pleyel, New York’s Rose Theater, Lincoln Center, and Leipzig’s Gewandhaus. Ms. Yang has also given live concert broadcasts from the Schwetzingen Festival, broadcast by the SWR Stuttgart; from the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, broadcast by Deutschlandradio; and from the Montpellier Festival, broadcast by Radio France.

As a critically acclaimed recording artist for Naxos, Ms. Yang most recently released the Violin Concertos by Castelnuovo-Tedesco recorded with the SWR Sinfonieorchester Baden-Baden und Freiburg and the complete Solo Sonatas by Eugene Ysaye which immediately won several awards. Her Mendelssohn Violin Concertos album earned her the title “one of the best new violinists of the new century” by Musicweb-International. Of her previously released recordings of Pablo de Sarasate’s complete works for violin as an eight disc set, David Hurwitz of Classics Today calls Ms. Yang a “sensationally talented violinist,” while All Things Strings speaks of her “stunning effortless virtuosity” and “uncanny affinity for Spanish music “. The Complete works for violin and piano by Wolfgang Rihm was released in late 2012, and she has also recorded Piazzolla’s Las 4 Estaciones Porte?as with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and the Vivaldi/Piazzolla Eight Seasons performed with her own ensemble. 

Ms. Yang continues to build her growing reputation in concert halls across Europe, Australasia and North America.  Most recently, she debuted with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Edmonton Symphony adding this Canadian orchestra to her 2012 Canadian debut performances in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. She debuted in New York’s Rose Theater as part of that same 2012 tour. Upcoming debuts include those with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, The Florida Orchestra, the Vancouver and Winnipeg Symphonies, and Guerzenich Orchestra, Cologne.

Raised in the Chinese capital city, Ms. Yang began studying violin at the age of four.  Demonstrating unquestionable ability, Ms. Yang won six competitions as a young child.  At the age of ten she was accepted to study at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing as a student of Lin Yaoji.  Within one year, Hong Kong media described the young artist as “A Pride of China.”  Ms. Yang recorded the 24 Paganini Caprices at the age of thirteen, making her the youngest artist to release the works.  In 2003 Ms. Yang was awarded a scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service to study chamber music in Germany, marking the beginning of her European career. 

Ms. Yang has won several awards during her career including the Volkswagen Foundation prize “Star of Tomorrow” by Seiji Ozawa and the 2006 “Prix Montblanc.” She is the recipient of the much coveted ECHO Klassik Award for Best Up-and-Coming Artist 2014. She is Professor of Violin at the University of the Arts, Bern, Switzerland and is grateful to Lin Yaoji, J?rg-Wolfgang Jahn and Anner Bylsma for the musical insight and support they have offered throughout her career. 

She performs on a Guarneri del Gesu (1730) on kind loan from Mr. Kei Mei Rin in Singapore.
